And we have ceased fighting anything or anyone- even alcohol. For by this time sanity will have returned. We will seldom be interested in liquor. If tempted, we recoil from it as from a hot flame. We react sanely and normally, and we find that has happened automatically. We will see our new attitude toward liquor has been given us without any thought or effort on our part. It just comes! That is the miracle of it. We are not fighting it, neither are we avoiding temptation. We feel as though we had been placed in a position of neutrality- safe and protected. We have not even sworn off. Instead the problem has been removed, It does not exist for us. We are not cocky nor are we afraid. That is our experience. that is how we react so long as we keep in fit spirtual condition. pg. 85

Strange Times
For the last 2 nights I have had a dream (nightmare) that I have been smoking weed. Next sunday will be 16 years without it, Guess these dreams are a good reminder of the life I do NOT want. I still find them upsetting.

Meditation Time

42f and sunny

Yep, That's good enough for a ride. what a day! Started off with a good fire in the pit and some awesome meditating on page 70. Then I called up a friend and shared with him about life. We talked about procrastination so I figured I better clean up the yard of leaves. After that I planned on watching the Lions try to play football but we all know how that went. Then I went in the garage and she looked at me with that cute headlight and it was all I needed, so I gave her a nice bath and rode her hard. ac/dc was jamming "You shook me all night long" on the sound system and I just had to laugh. Man I am grateful God brought her into my life.
