Trip to the Rosy Mound

Had a wonderful trip to west Michigan.I have always wanted to check out the Rosy Mound Nature preserve so we stopped in and went for a hike, What a beautiful place this is!!!! A well kept Natural area where you walk thru the different stages of the dunes and end up on a non crowded stretch of Lake michigan beach. Had a dip in the lake and nice walk down the beach. We saw plants and flowers that I have never seen before, I cannot wait to go back!!!!!

Two years!!!!!!

The Special Happy Place

I was talking to my granddaughter Sami about the room she calls her room in my house and she said she wanted a picture of the river on her wall because it was her happy place. I have always found the spot we go to very comforting and have always gone there when troubled. There is a very strong presence of the spirit of the Universe there and I believe she has felt it before. I have never discussed this with her because she is so young.

Winter Beauty

Have had some time off so I have been spending more time outside. It has been cold, about 25f during the day. I just bundle up and go out. As long as I stay active it is not bad at all., Quite peaceful in fact. Here are some pics of what its like out there. I shoveled the snow on a pond and made an ice skating rink.
