Winter Beauty

Have had some time off so I have been spending more time outside. It has been cold, about 25f during the day. I just bundle up and go out. As long as I stay active it is not bad at all., Quite peaceful in fact. Here are some pics of what its like out there. I shoveled the snow on a pond and made an ice skating rink.

ANOTHER MILESTONE

This day last year I had my last cigarette at 8:30 am. I remember it clearly. i came to the fork in the road. give it a try to stop or commit to smoke 2 packs a day which was costing me 10 dollars a day. I am so glad I gave it a try. and now am smoke free for a year.

what a strange name

This is "Elegant Stinkhorn". What a strange name, nothing elegant about it. I guess it is stinky because it was covered with flies to keep it propagated.

There are 450,000 Impatiens in this row of the greenhouse. Now that they are grown up I hope they found good homes and are helping to beautify this world
